The first fundamental rule of breeding is as follows:

***Once a Lazy Horse breeds it can no longer run.***

Only Lazy Horses (HORSE and PONY) can breed, when they breed, a polygon horse is created in the metaverse. We will refer to all newborn horses as polygons for the sake of this guide.

This creates an interesting strategy of choosing runners and breeders from the Lazy Horses.

Breeding Attribute

The Breeding attribute directly rates to your Lazy Horses desirability as a breeding partner:

A Lazy Horse with a Breeding attribute (see chart below) has a higher likelihood of reproducing the greater of the 2 ratings when compared among the 2 breeding Lazy Horses.

For example, horse 1 has a Cardigan; the overall speed of horse 1 is +0 and the overall speed of horse 2 is +3; based on the fact that horse 1 possesses a positive breeding trait, there is a higher probability that the offspring with receive +3 overall speed than +0 overall speed.

All Lazy Horses are non-binary and can be bred.

Breeding Time

Breeding gestation period is 8 weeks. If you possess positive Recovery Attributes, your Breeding time is accelerated at a rate 1 day per +1. This can be accelerated via time upgrades with LHRC.

Breeding Recovery

Breeding recovery time is set to a period of 2 weeks. If you possess positive Recovery Attributes, your Breeding recovery time is accelerated at a rate 1 day per +1. The overall time can be accelerate via time upgrades with LHRC.

Offspring Limits

All polygon horses exist in the metaverse solely as racehorse. Their attributes reflect a blend of the in-game attributes of their Lazy parents. In this environment, they are now referred to by their ratings (0, +1, +2, etc) in each category and not the physical attributes of the Lazy Horse NFT (i.e. Zebra, Trump, Cardigan).

All polygon horses have a lifetime 100 race limit. When race limit expires, the polygon asset is removed from the ecosystem.

With development, there will be several marketplace options available:

Stud Marketplace

Stud out your Lazy Horse to someone looking for a breeding partner or not possessing a breeding horse of their own. Set your own stud fees and grow your operations!

Offspring Marketplace

There will be an in-game marketplace to sell your polygon horses so you can reap the benefits of your breeding operations without racing.
